Shows are constantly arriving and leaving on Netflix, as it usually is. Netflix has never been especially effective at notifying customers of removals, and in recent months has made things far more difficult. May 2022 will be no exception, so let’s take a look at what will be leaving throughout the month. 

Shrek

CAST: Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Conrad Vernon, Chris Miller, John Lithgow

Synopsis: Shrek is a terrifying, large green monster who lives alone in a swamp. He sets out on a trip to aid the fairytale creatures that Lord Farquaad has exiled from Duloc while also removing other creatures who could fear and insult him from his home. Shrek falls in love with Farquaad Princess Fiona while carrying out Farquaad’s order to bring her to marry. He starts out as a cranky, short-tempered loner, but soon reveals his great heart, loses his protective layers, and emerges as a true hero.

Shrek 2

Synopsis: Shrek 2 picks up after the events of the previous film, with Shrek and Donkey meeting Fiona’s parents as her zealous Fairy Godmother prepares to destroy Shrek and Fiona’s marriage.

Colony (Season 1-3)

Sypnosis: A family tries to stay together under a new world order after a mysterious alien invasion. The colony is a film set in the near future about a family that must make difficult decisions in order to stay together while fighting to live. They live in Los Angeles, which has been invaded by intruders from the outside.

The Clovehitch Killer

Sypnosis: Tyler discovers a stockpile of disturbing images in his father’s hands, shattering his picture-perfect family. He begins to suspect that the man he most trusts in the world is the one who killed 13 girls ten years ago.

Dead Man Down (2013)

Sypnosis: Victor (Colin Farrell), a rising gangland player, infiltrates Alphonse’s (Terrence Howard) criminal empire, but his goal is not to gain prestige and power. Victor’s objective, on the other hand, is to make Alphonse pay for wrecking his once-happy existence. Victor’s schemes have not gone unnoticed; his next-door neighbor, Beatrice (Noomi Rapace), keeps an eye on him. When she discovers Victor’s secret, she threatens to reveal it unless he assists her in carrying out her own vengeance campaign.

Sabotage

Sypnosis: An elite DEA task force is led by John “Breacher” Wharton (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Its most recent mission was a high-stakes raid on a safe house belonging to one of the world’s most dangerous drug cartels. Wharton and his squad (Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, and Joe Manganiello) successfully complete the job but steal $10 million in the process. They believe their mission is complete until the commandos are unexpectedly killed one by one. Everyone becomes a suspect as the body count grows.

Shot Caller

Sypnosis: On the advice of his lawyer, a California stockbroker is arrested and charged with a fatal DUI accident. He accepts a plea deal and is sentenced to 16 months in jail. He falls affiliated with a violent white nationalist gang is incarcerated.

Battleship

CAST: Taylor Kitsch, Peter Berg, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna, Liam Neeson, Gregory D. Gadson 

Sypnosis: Lt. Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch) is a weapons officer on the destroyer USS John Paul Jones, while his older brother Stone (Alexander Skarsgrd) is the USS Sampson’s commanding officer. Alex, Stone, and the rest of the United States had no idea. Aliens have landed on Earth with plans to steal Earth’s resources, according to the Navy. When the Navy’s radar is destroyed during a battle with the invaders, American and Japanese soldiers must work together to rescue the Earth.
