The Premier League is the highest level of England’s football league system, with 20 teams fighting for the England championship. For its 32nd season, the fixtures (schedule) of games have been ongoing from the 12th of August, 2023, until the 19th of May, 2024.
Earlier this month, Crystal Palace vs Brighton & Hove Albion drew a 1-1 score as Danny Welbeck’s looping header rescued a point for their team. Brighton could have won the game without Palace’s goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, punching the ball away. Resulting in it bouncing hard off of Welbeck’s head and back towards the net.
Aston Villa vs Sheffield United also encountered the same fate with a 1-1 draw, kicking Sheffield to the 19th spot on the board while Villa remains in third place.
Liverpool vs Arsenal FC had a gripping 1-1 draw in their last game, where Arsenal managed to maintain their place at the top of the table, while Liverpool comes in 2nd place.
In the recent game between West Ham vs Man United, West Ham scored two goals in six-second half-minutes and ultimately secured victory with a 2-0 score. Wolves vs Chelsea garnered a 2-1 score thanks to second-half strikes from Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty.
Tottenham vs. Everton ended with a 2-1 score, allowing the Tottenham Hotspurs to return to the top four. Richarlison de Andrade and Son Heung-min earned the two points for the Spurs within 20 minutes of the game. But Everton took over in the second half, where Andre Gomes scored a point eight minutes before time.
Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle ended with a 3-1 score as former Newcastle member Chris Wood scored three goals for his new team. This win places Forest up to 16th, while New Castle remains in seventh place.
