MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The well-known and leading Pinoy pop group in the country, SB19, and BINI, has collaborated for the latest version of the youth anthem of PBB, “Kabataang Pinoy.” The music video was released on Monday, March 21.

Star Music released the music video on its official Youtube account. The video recorded events of March 19, when teen stars BINI and SB19 came together to rehearse for their live performance of “Kabataang Pinoy”  for Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition’s opening night.

In the documentary-style video, the P-pop groups are first seen entering ABS-CBN Studios and doing a formal introduction with each other. They then rehearse for their choreography, conduct technical and dress rehearsals, and finally perform on stage during the live show.

In a recent interview, SB19 said that collaborating with BINI is “special” because it marks the band’s first collaboration with another P-pop artist. The girl group also mentioned the “genuine friendship” formed by both groups working together for the first time.

The closing seconds of Kabataang Pinoy’s music video include encouraging words to the youth out there.

BINI gives their encouraging words by saying, “Never give up and never think of giving up. Just always believe in yourself kasi iyon ang magdadala sa ‘yo sa tagumpay.”

The boy group then agreed to their statement by saying that we should never give up on our dreams in life.

The hitmakers of SB19’s Bazinga cheer loudly and say, “P-pop rise!” — a catching phrase that shows support to both established and existing acts of the genre in their attempt to reach the global stage.

“Kabataang Pinoy” is one of Pinoy Big Brother’s official soundtracks.
