MANILA, Philippines – Actor and Comedian Paolo Contis denies rumors about dating Arra San Agustin. He clarified that they are still together with his girlfriend Yen Santos.
Paolo was featured guest on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,”. “Talk or dare, kayo na ba ni Arra San Agustin, kayo pa ba ni Yen?” The “King of Talk” Boy Abunda asked Paolo.
“Yes. Kami pa ni Yen,” Paolo Contis replied. Paolo addresses the sweet images and video of him and Arra that went viral.
“And alam mo yung kumakalat sa amin ni Arra, it’s an edited video of a portion in Eat Bulaga! and it was maliciously edited,” he said.
“It’s parang skit love triangle ni Arra, ako at saka si Ken played by Betong [Sumaya]. And they just keep on posting the other side of it,” the actor added.
Paolo and Yen started dating in 2021, amid the former’s controversial break up with actress LJ Reyes. He positively confirmed their romance in January 2023, he has denied allegations that Yen was a third party in his relationship with actress LJ Reyes.
They also confirmed their relationship in “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”
“Si Yen Santos ba ang girlfriend mo na?” asked Boy.
Paolo jokes, “As a friend?” while laughing.
When Boy said, “Umayos ka,” and repeated his question, Paolo confirmed his relationship with Yen.
“Yes,” he revealed.
“Ang samin kasi, kung baga, what you see is what you get na naman e, ‘di ba? Hindi na namin pwedeng ipilit ‘yung tao to be happy for us, hindi na namin pwedeng ipilit ‘yung mga tao na paniwalaan ‘yung gusto nilang paniwalaan. Sana lang isipin nila na kung ano lang ‘yung nakikita nilang naka-post, ‘yung lang ang truth na alam nila.” the actor added.
Paolo also previously confirmed his intentions of marrying the A Faraway Land actress. “Eventually, papunta naman doon,” he said.
