PAGASA: Easterlies bring rain across the country

WhatALife! PAGASA Weather Updates

WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and light rains and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in other areas today, March 7 (Thursday).

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced across the Visayas, specifically in the Batanes, which is affected by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies have an impact on these areas, and during severe thunderstorms, possible flash floods or landslides.

Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that Northern Luzon sections of the country will experience northeast winds, causing moderate coastal water conditions (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

PAGASA advised to stay informed about the latest weather updates from reliable sources. Prepare for sudden weather changes, especially if planning outdoor activities. Residents in areas prone to flooding and landslides should be vigilant and have an emergency plan.
