PAGASA: Scattered rain showers, thunderstorms expected across the country

WhatALife! PAGASA Weather Updates

WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and light rains and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in other areas today, March 20 (Wednesday).

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced across the Visayas, specifically in the Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Masbate, which are affected by the Easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Kalinga will encounter cloudy skies with rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon, with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

However, Aurora and Northern Quezon will encounter cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail in Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON caused by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies impact these areas, and there are possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that Northern Luzon sections of the country will experience northeast to east winds, causing moderate to rough coastal water conditions (2.8 to 4.5 meters).

PAGASA advised those in coastal areas, particularly the northern and eastern sections, to be cautious due to moderate to rough sea conditions.

It’s always recommended that you stay updated on the latest weather reports from PAGASA for any changes or specific warnings regarding your area.
