Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno said on Tuesday, June 22, more than 51,000 Kagay-anons already jabbed the COVID-19 vaccine since its rollout in March this year.

The City Health Insurance Office – Data Management Team reported over 40,000 people received their first dose. Meanwhile, more than 11,000 successfully completed their doses — including the priority groups under A1: Health workers, A2: Senior citizens, and A3: Adult with comorbidities — using the Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.

Moreno reminded the public that new 20,000 doses of Sinovac will arrive in the city and be added in the rollout this week.
