Ogie Diaz Reveals Charges Towards Barbie Imperial

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Ogie Diaz, a showbiz reporter, has revealed charges against Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial by Debbie Garcia.

Actress Debbie Garcia and Barbie Imperial’s altercation has gotten some attention online. The two actresses started becoming controversial leading the altercation to filing of charges. 

Garcia has filed for physical injury, oral defamation, grave slander by deed cases against Imperial. Garcia said that the decision was due to her desire to stand up for herself.

The argument happened in a bar in Quezon City. Imperial has allegedly moved on from the altercation.

In a new video, Ogie Diaz shared that the cases were junked. Diaz expressed, “Ang naturang kaso ay ibinasura ng korte.”

Diaz proceeded to share the photo of the document that served as proof of his claims. In the last part of the document, it stated that it was seen in the CCTV footage that they were immediately pulled away from each other and “nothing ensued thereafter.”

“The alleged defamatory remarks and other acts intended or calculated to cast dishonor, discredit or contempt upon the complainant that would constitute the crimes of Grave Oral Defamation and Slander by Deed are not evident in the CCTV footage attached to the complaint,” was written in the document. 

There were no recordings of the two actresses grabbing and pulling the hair, scratching the chest, or kicking the leg. Thus, charges against Imperial were dismissed because of insufficient evidence. 

“WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, the undersigned finds that the charges against the Respondent Barbie Imperial y Concina, alias “Barbie Imperial” for Slight Physical Injuries under paragraph 1, Article 266 of the Revised Penal Code, Grave Oral Defamation under Article 358 of the Revised Penal Code and Grave Slander by Deed be DISMISSED due to INSUFFICIENCY OF EVIDENCE,” lastly stated in the document.  – WhatALife!/Zain
