Afterward, Melai asked Maymay to translate “Unsa mani uy!”, a commonly used Bisaya phrase. Maymay initially replied with, “What’s going on in here?” Both of them jumped with joy and celebrated with a high-five. Later, Maymay adjusted her answer to, “What’s going on here?”

However, Melai highlighted the use of “uy” and its English equivalent, to which Maymay responded, “What’s going on here, uy!”

Both artists hail from the Bisaya regions of the country. The essence of Melai’s “Kuan on One” podcast is to showcase influential Bisaya personalities.
