MANILA, Philippines – A video of the actress during her Starstruck year goes viral where she wore an “emo” hairstyle.
In a video shared by GMA Network on Instagram, Kris was observed shedding tears as a hairstylist clarified the reason behind the unconventional haircut.
In a TikTok throwback video also posted by GMA Network, Kris is seen in a salon, holding her newly cut locks and remarking, “Just one inch, just a trim.” The caption accompanying the video reads: “When you asked for just a trim, but your stylist had other plans.” Feel free to raise your hand if you find this relatable!
In the other portion of the video, it featured her stylist, Richard Perello, proudly presenting her bold hairstyle. He explained, “Most girls have long hair, so I thought for her, a short style would suit her well.”.
Kris reacted to the video on her Instagram Story captioning “Yung trauma ko dito,”,“Chareeeet.” she added.
Kris also commented on some laughing emojis on GMA’s post. Celebrities like Carla Abellana and Rita Daniela, plus Kapuso fans also couldn’t contain their laughter in the comments.
Kris participated in the fourth season of “Starstruck: The Next Level,” a talent search, in 2006. She achieved the title of Ultimate Loveteam, sharing the honor with Mart Escudero. Jewel Mische earned the title of Ultimate Sweetheart, while Aljur Abrenica was crowned the Ultimate Hunk.
In a recent gathering, Kris and her fellow “Starstruck” alumni came together for an episode of “Family Feud.”
Beyond her acting career, Kris is now a happy and loving wife to Perry Choi and a new mother to Hailee Lucca, whom they introduced in August.
