Fuel price increase effective January 31, 2023

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Jetti will implement a price increase for diesel by Php1.00 per liter, Platinum and Silver gasoline by Php1.30 per liter, effective 06:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, Pilipinas SHELL will implement a price increase for diesel by Php1.00 per liter, kerosene by Php1.35 per liter, and gasoline by Php1.30 per liter.

Petro Gazz will implement a price increase for diesel by Php1.00 per liter and gasoline by Php1.30 per liter, effective 6:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, Seaoil will implement a price increase for diesel by Php1.00 per liter, kerosene by Php1.35 per liter, and gasoline by Php1.30 per liter.



Effective 4:01 pm, CleanFuel will implement a price increase for diesel by Php1.00 per liter, and gasoline by Php1.30 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

  • Diesel – Php0.85 to Php1.15 per liter (increase)
  • Gasoline – Php1.30 to Php1.50 per liter (increase)
  • Kerosene – Php1.10 to Php1.50 per liter (increase)

Year-to-date net increase

Effective 31 January 2023, the oil companies implemented a per liter increase in gasoline by P1.30, diesel by P1.00 and kerosene by P1.35.



These resulted to a total net increase this year to stand at P7.20/liter for gasoline, P3.05/liter for diesel, and P4.45/liter for kerosene.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
