MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Effective 12:01AM May 23, 2023, Caltex (CPI)will INCREASE fuel prices of Platinum and Silver by 0.80 Php/L, Diesel by 0.60 Php/L and DECREASE Kerosene by 0.10 Php/L.

Jetti petroleum will implement a price hike for diesel master by Php 0.60 per liter, and for gasoline Php 0.80 per liter.

Pilipinas SHELL will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter, increase for diesel Php 0.60 per liter and a rollback in kerosene by Php 0.10 per liter.

Petro Gazz will implement a price hike for diesel by Php 0.60 per liter and also an increase for gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter effective 6:00 am.



Seaoil will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter, diesel by Php 0.60 per liter, and a rollback for kerosene by Php 0.10 per liter.

CleanFuel will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter, and also an increase by Php 0.60 per liter for diesel.

PTT Philippines will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter, and an increase of Php 0.60 per liter for diesel.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will increase the prices of gasoline by Php 0.80 per liter and an increase for diesel by Php 0.60 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:



  • Diesel P0.40 – P0.60 /L ( Increase )
  • Gasoline P0.60 – P0.80 /L ( Increase )
  • Kerosene P0.10 – P0.20 /L ( Rollback )

Year-to-date net increase

Effective 8 May, 2023, the oil companies implemented a per liter increase of Php 0.60 for diesel and Php 0.80 for gasoliine. On the opposite, the price of kerosene decreased by P0.10 per liter.

These resulted to a year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P1.00/liter and kerosene at P1.65/liter. Gasoline on the other hand, has a net increase of P6.70/liter.
