MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Former president Rodrigo Duterte claimed Thursday that Apollo Quiboloy may be hiding in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ’s Barangay Tamayong properties in Calinan District, Davao City.

In a press conference in Davao City on Thursday, Duterte revealed Quiboloy’s possible location after advising the controversial televangelist who is facing arrest warrants and arrest orders from regional trial courts and the Senate.

“As a lawyer, I would say that you can go to court and fix your case and post a bail bond. but if you think that you will get the fair deal with this administration, eh wag kang lumabas diyan sa Tamayong. Nandiyan lang siya sa Tamayong. Malaki lang ang Tamayong,” Duterte said.

He said Quiboloy could also hide at the KOJC compound in Buhangin District near the Davao International Airport.

However, the search could pose a challenge for authorities such as Brgy. Because Tamayong is a big town, a search warrant is required for every home that will be inspected.

Ang Tamayong malaki ‘yan, sa loob maraming bahay. Make sure na sa isang bahay nandiyan siya because for every bahay it should be a different search warrant,” the former President added.

Duterte also denies that he is indulging Quiboloy and denies hiding him even in his house. If Quiboloy gives himself up to him, he won’t accept it either.

Hindi ko siya tatanggapin. Hindi ako ang authority. Hindi ako ang nagdadala ng warrant,” he said.

Duterte also explained his role as an administrator of the KOJC.

“Administrator, that means when he is not around. Ngayon is probably in hiding; somebody has to see the kingdom’s management to preserve it and not let it go to waste. Sayang nandiyan na yan. Kingdom of God’ yan,” he said.
