CdeO COVID-19 recoveries now 3623

Cagayan de Oro City reported 11 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 11 new confirmed cases as of yesterday evening, all of which are local cases.

With this, the total cumulative cases in the city is now at 3,962.

Out of the cumulative total, 151 are active cases, 53 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 97 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and one case under the ROF/LSI category.



Dr. Nery also announced ten new recoveries and no new death today, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 3,623 and 188 respectively.

As of March 15, Region 10 has the highest vaccine utilization rate in the country with Cagayan de Oro contributing much of the data.

Accordingly, current deployment is limited to frontline healthcare workers, who were given the option between CoronaVac or AstraZeneca vaccines.
