COVID-19 cases in CdeO breach 4,000 mark

Cagayan de Oro City reported 23 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, March 22, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged seven new confirmed cases on Saturday, March 20, of which one locally stranded individual, three local cases with links, two APORs, and one index cases. Meanwhile, the city recorded 16 new confirmed cases on Sunday, March 21, of which 12 are local cases with links and four local index cases.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 4,016 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the cumulative total, 160 are active cases, 47 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 111 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and two case under the ROF/LSI category.



Dr. Nery also announced 15 new recoveries and no new death today, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 3,665 and 191 respectively.
