Mikha Lim, member of the nation’s girl group BINI, emerged as a crowd favorite during the 2024 Star Magic All Star Volleyball Games. Selected as the setter for the Lady Setters volleyball team, Lim showcased her skills in a thrilling match at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Despite the Lady Setters’ defeat to the Lady Spikers in a three-set game (25-20, 22-25, 25-18), Lim’s performance did not go unnoticed. Her exceptional play earned her the title of Best Setter. She was also honored as a member of the Mythical Six. She joins the ranks of Reign Parani, Awra Briguela, Janah Zaplan, Analain Salvador, and Vivoree Esclito.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of BINI celebrated Lim’s achievements with a congratulatory post: “Best setter na nga sa volleyball, best setter pa ng kilig sa mga puso namin. Boogsh! Throughout the event, Lim received overwhelming support from the audience. Loud cheers were erupting whenever her name was mentioned or whenever she made a significant play. Her bandmates—Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, and Sheena—cheered her on from the sidelines. Indeed providing a strong support system.

Adding to the excitement, BINI performed their hit songs “Pantropiko” and “Karera” during the halftime show. The group’s performancee further energized the crowd and showcased their versatility as performers.

BINI’s Mikha Lim’s remarkable display of talent and connection with the fans solidified her status as a beloved figure at the Star Magic All Star Volleyball Games.
