“Can’t Buy Me Love” stars Belle Mariano and Kaila Estrada revealed their genuine admiration for the on-screen chemistry between Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal.
During their interview with the Cosmopolitan and PH Care event, Belle and Kaila expressed their desire for additional opportunities for the beloved love team in future projects.
“We are fans of SnoRene. Ang cute nila,” Belle said.
“We are honestly so happy for them, kasi talagang ang husay ng dalawang ‘yun,” Kaila said.
“It just really clicked with them—the humor, their timing—we’re really rooting for them, and we hope that there will be projects coming up,” she added.
Additionally, fans have affectionately dubbed the pairing of Snoop (Anthony) and Irene (Maris) as SnoRene. Both actors are part of the ensemble cast of the popular series, which is scheduled to conclude its run later this week.
Belle and Kaila expressed their gratitude to the fans for their support. .
“Lahat ng platforms na nilalabasan ng ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ talagang ramdam mo ‘yung pagmamahal nila. Thank you for loving our characters. Thank you for loving the story,” Belle said.
“Can’t Buy Me Love” soared to the top spot in the list of leading TV shows on Netflix immediately upon its release in October 2023 until November.
The series sustained its success, securing a position in the top 10 of the same category until April 2024, and it became one of the most watched series on iWantTFC in February 2024.
