WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) has been spotted inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continues to affect Palawan, including the Zamboanga Peninsula, BANGSAMORO Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN.
The ITCZ continues to affect the Palawan Area and portions of Mindanao, such as the Zamboanga Peninsula, BANGSAMORO Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN. All areas may expect cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers, and thunderstorms brought by the weather system.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience fair weather with chances of rain due to localized thunderstorms.
At the moment, no LPA is spotted nearby and inside PAR.
“Sa kasalukyan wala rin tayong minomonitor or binabantayang Low-Pressure Area o sama ng panahon na maaring makaapekto sa ano mang bahagi ng ating bansa,” reports PAGASA Weather Forecaster Daniel James Villamil.

Due to the ITCZ, Palawan, Kalayaan Islands, Zamboanga Peninsula, BANGSAMORO Region, and SOCCSKSARGENmay expect cloudy skies and rain showers throughout the day until early evening. As a result, residents are warned of flash floods and landslides.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country are forecast to have fair weather with chances of isolated rain showers and localized thunderstorms late afternoon or evening.
The weather agency has not issued a gale warning at the moment.
