WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) is being monitored close to the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Still, Indonesia’s LPA extends into the Philippines, causing today’s cloudy skies in some parts of Visayas and Mindanao.
The weather agency also reports that the Bicol Region and the province of Romblon will continue to experience heavy rain due to the Shear Line.
The Quezon province, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Palawan & certain areas of Southern Luzon may expect rain showers brought on by the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan. Rain will also fall in isolated regions of Luzon, but rainstorms & thunderstorms are unlikely.
PAGASA confirms there is still a chance that there will be a typhoon even as 2022 draws to a close.
