UKRAINE — On Sunday, invading Russian forces in Irpin reportedly killed Ukrainian actor Pasha Lee, who had roles in both films and television shows in the country.
The movie star “joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to protect the country from Russian occupiers,” according to local reports and the Odesa International Film Festival’s Facebook page. He was killed “as a result of shelling by Russian occupiers,” the event organizers said.

Pasha Lee also shared his last social media post on Instagram on Sunday, stating “For the last 48 hours there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE WE ARE WORKING!!!,” (roughly translated to english) As you can see to his post below.
On Sunday, Russian forces approaching Kyiv fired mortar bombs at a bridge over the Irpin river. The shelling scattered residents and killed at least four individuals on the same bridge, which served as an evacuation route for civilians escaping Irpin. Since February 24, 2022, at least 406 Ukrainian civilians have been confirmed dead, according to the United Nations.
Meanwhile, in a statement by Associated Press, Russian bombardment continued on Sunday in Kyiv suburbs, including Irpin, which has been without electricity, water, or heat for three days. At least four civilians were killed when they tries to escape the battle near the Irpin bridge during bombardment. – WhatALife!
