International news broke when the Russian President, Vladimir Putin’s cardiac arrest was shared with the world that he collapsed in his sleeping quarters.
The Russian President, age 71 has already been known to have several health issues but the Kremlin or Russian government has denied reports of the like.
Reports stated that Putin collapsed in his bedroom on Sunday and suffered a cardiac arrest. This report was shared by the UK Mirror, sharing a statement from a Telegram channel called, General SVR that follows the Kremlin. Reports further stated that doctors had to resuscitate the president before he was taken to a special intensive care facility within his official residence.
“Doctors performed resuscitation, having previously determined that the president was in cardiac arrest,” the channel was quoted as saying. “Help was provided on time, the heart was started and Putin regained consciousness.” – Business Today. With regards to the Russian president’s health, the Kremlin has continuously denied such claims.
The General SVR is a source that claims to have inside information on the Kremlin and shared that Putin’s cardiac arrest happened at around 9:05 PM Moscow time.
With rumors circulating about the Russian president’s health, the Kremlin had to release a statement to counter the rumors that Putin uses a body double due to his health constraints.
The Kremlin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, announced that everything is good with the president. The press secretary then went on further to deny the rumors of Putin using a body double for health or security purposes. Peskov indicated that the rumors are “absurd information hoaxes.”
The press secretary then proceeded to state, “This belongs to the category of absurd information hoaxes that a whole series of media discuss with enviable tenacity,” which he then further added, “this evokes nothing but a smile.”
General SVR was also the first to share that the Russian president uses a body double which the Kremlin has denied. The General SVR originated in 2020 and shows to base its claims from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) and other Russian government units.
General SVR’s claims were also the first to talk about Putin’s heart attack.
