MANILA, PHILIPPINES — On Tuesday, August 23, former beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez announced her graduation from college on social media, showing her donning a toga.
According to Gutierrez, she enrolled in Communication Arts under the Philippine Women’s University’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (PWU).
“Don’t scale down your dream to fit your reality. Instead, upgrade your faith to align with your destiny,” she wrote.
Guiterrez also shared she’s preparing for PWU’s 99th commencement exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) next week.
Fellow celebrities expressed their congratulatory message to the beauty queen-actress like Sarah Lahbati, KC Concepcion, Arlene Muhlach, and Kaladkaren.
The actress acknowledged everyone who helped her reach her most recent milestone.
The television personality also expressed her desire to continue her education and that she had already enrolled in the university’s master’s program.
Since Gutierrez, 48, comes from a family of famous people who successfully thrust her and her family members into the spotlight early, she is regarded as entertainment “royalty.”
Since she began acting in 1987, Gutierrez has become more well-known. In 1993, she competed as the Philippines’ representative in the Miss World pageant, finishing as the Second Princess. – WhatALife!/Brix
