In a recent media event marking the finale of the beloved Kapamilya series “Can’t Buy Me Love,” Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings expressed gratitude for their overwhelming support. 

Notably, OPM rock icon Rico Blanco, partner to Maris, revealed his support for the show and his fondness for the performance of Albie Casiño.

The SnoRene tandem, a fusion of the characters Snoop and Irene portrayed by Maris and Anthony, respectively, garnered attention and appreciation from viewers throughout the series. 

Despite sharing the screen with lead stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, Maris, and Anthony managed to carve out their niche and captivate audiences with their chemistry.

During the event, both Maris and Anthony conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to portray their characters and the immense support they received from the production team and fans alike. 

Maris particularly highlighted the joy of embodying her character, Irene Tiu, and expressed her dedication to delivering her best performance in every scene.

“And Si Rico naman, he’s so supportive. Super fan siya ng show especially sa Tiu Family and yung mystery. Favorite niya si Albie (Casiño), the best daw, the best daw sa show and natutuwa din siya sa amin ni Anthony,” Maris shared.

According to Maris, Rico considers Albie the show’s standout talent, a sentiment many viewers echo.

Rico’s endorsement of Albie’s portrayal adds another layer of appreciation to the series, reflecting the mutual respect among the cast members.
