As of 3 a.m. today, according to PAGASA’s early morning forecast, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was anticipated to be 45 kilometers south of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur, on Wednesday, with the shear line affecting Eastern Visayas and the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and the rest of Visayas.
The northeast monsoon, which has no major effect, will bring cloudy skies and light rainfall to Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and the Bicol Region.
The LPA / shear line will bring cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers, and thunderstorms to Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides caused to moderate to heavy rains.
The wind speed predicted for northern Luzon, as well as the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon, is moderate to strong, heading northeastward, with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Winds will be moderate to strong in the rest of Luzon and the Visayas, heading northeast to north, with moderate to rough coastal seas.
The wind will be light to moderate in Mindanao, going from the southeast to northeast, and the coastal seas will be slight to moderate.
