WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), no Low-Pressure Area (LPA) is currently being monitored inside and nearby the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Fair weather with chances of isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected for the rest of the day.
The weather agency reports no LPA for the next 24 to 48 hours. Only the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan affects Northern and Central Luzon, bringing light rain in affected areas, including Metro Manila.
Meanwhile, fair weather is forecast for most of the country. However, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao.
WEATHER TODAY – FEBRUARY 6, 2023
For today’s weather forecast, most of Luzon may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies. The Bicol Region and Mimaropa have high chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may experience light rains.
Temperatures in Luzon range from 20 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees Celsius.
The same weather conditions as yesterday, partly cloudy to cloudy skies, are expected in Visayas and Mindanao, with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures range from 24 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.
PAGASA has also lifted all gale warnings. However, residents of coastal areas in Northern Luzon and the southern portion of the country are warned of moderate to rough waves.
