WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Southwest Monsoon will affect western sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
PAGASA has shown that the Southwest Monsoon will cause moderate and heavy rains in Southern portions of Luzon, Western Visayas, and Mindanao. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience possible severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be experiencing possible flash floods or landslides caused by Southwest Monsoon/Localized Thunderstorms during severe thunderstorms in certain areas.
On the other hand, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCKSARGEN, and Quezon will be experiencing possible flash floods or landslides caused by LPA/Southwest Monsoon during moderate to heavy rains in certain areas.
In addition, forecast wind and coastal water conditions will be normal. Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will have a light to moderate wind speed directed from West to Southwest, with the waters being 0.6 to 2.1 meters in height.
The same goes for the rest of Luzon, which will have a light to moderate wind speed directed from Northeast to Northwest, with the waters showing the exact height mentioned above.
