The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 10 is hiring Geodetic Engineers.
Interested applicants must be a licensed Geodetic Engineer who is not more than 40 years of age and has to accomplish the following documents listed below:
- Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph;
- Performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable);
- Photocopy of certified eligibility/rating/license; and
- Photocopy of Transcript of Records.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify and assume liability for work performed.
- Verify the accuracy of the survey data, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, and records related to surveys.
- Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal purposes.
- Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
- Coordinate findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other concerned with projects.
- Establish fixed points for use in making maps using geodetic and engineering instruments.
- Train assistant and helpers direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.
- Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data in order to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
