The Philippines is gearing up for another quest as the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 organization unveiled its official roster of candidates on February 20, 2024.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 candidates are 55 stunning women representing diverse backgrounds, cultures, and aspirations.
Among the candidates for Miss Universe PH 2024 are seasoned pageant veterans: Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2021 Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Binibining Pilipinas International 2018 Ahtisa Manalo, Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate Stacey Gabriel, Miss Intercontinental 2014 second runner-up Kris Janson and Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up Christi McGarry.
A few of Miss Universe PH 2024’s revolutionary developments are included this year. Among them is the lifting of the age limit, which currently has the oldest candidate at 39 and the youngest at 18.
Additionally, the Accredited Partners Program is introduced, through which Filipinas who live abroad in places like Australia, the United Kingdom, Virginia, and Washington participate in the event by sending delegates for Miss Universe PH 2024.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the Miss Universe Philippines competition serves as a platform for empowered Filipinas to introduce social causes during the Miss Universe 2024 coronation night.
The winner will be crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024, and she will represent the country at the 73rd Miss Universe on September 28, 2024, in Mexico.
