American singer Halsey confirmed her engagement to Avan Jogia on X on Thursday, September 12. She revealed the news after correcting a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The announcement comes after Halsey responded to engagement rumors with the actor during an interview on the red carpet of MTV’s 2024 Music Video Awards (VMAs).

“I hope so,” Halsey said when E! News asked whether they would see wedding bells in the future.
“Avan is the best. He’s like one of the greatest things that’s ever happened to me. And, you know, every single day that I get to spend with him is one where I just feel like I’m with my best friend,” she continued.
Halsey also hinted that her three-year-old son, Ender, with ex-boyfriend Alev Aydin, has formed a strong bond with Jogia.
“They’re best friends too. They’re inseparable,” Halsey said.

Halsey and Avan Jogia first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 when she was photographed kissing the actor in Los Angeles. A month later, the couple confirmed their engagement by posting a carousel of photos on Instagram.
