Globe Telecom initially launched GCASH way back 2004. This platform provides its “Globe and TM subscribers with a cashless and cardless method of facilitating money remittance, donations, loan settlement, disbursement of salaries or commissions, and payment of bills, products, and services, via text message (GSMA, 2004). It wasn’t until a decade later when they released its mobile application version.
Today, GCash has over 20 million users all over the Philippines with 63,000 merchant partners.
Follow the seven easy steps in paying your bills online.Step 1: Download the App
Step 2:Log In to your Gcash account
Step 3: Go to Pay Bills at the Dashboard
Step 4: Select the biller by choosing the appropriate category.
To transact for government agency-related payments, select GOVERNMENT.
Step 5: Select the appropriate agency you want to pay
GOVERNMENT CATEGORY
Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
Billing will be posted within three (3) business days with NO additional fee.
You need to fill-up the following information: Form Series, Return Period, TIN, Branch Code, Amount, and Email (optional).
Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
Bill posting for DFA will be in real-time with NO additional fee
Fill-up the following information: Reference number, Contact number, Amount, and Email (optional).
Maritime Industry Authority (MIA)
MIA payment will be posted next business day with NO additional fee.
Likewise with DFA, here you’ll need your Reference number, Contact number, Amount, and Email (optional).
National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)
Bill payments will be posted real-time with NO additional fee
Type in the following details: Reference number, Contact number, Amount, and Email (optional). Note from the Biller: Please additional Php 40.00 to the payable amount as service fee for using NBI’s online system.
NSO Helpline Plus
Posted real-time with NO additional fee
The user will need the following details to fill-in: 10-digit Reference number, Contact number, Amount, and Email (optional).
Pag IBIG
Pag IBIG GCash payments will be posted within 3 business days with NO additional fee.
The following details are required: Type (Members contribution, Modified Pag-IBIG Savings, Housing Loan), 12-20 digits Account number, Period covered from, Period covered to, Email (optional). Note from the Biller: A charge of Php 5.00 for the convenience fee.
POEA
Posted real-time with NO additional fee.
Reference number, Contact number, Payable amount, and Email (optional).
Step 6: Review and confirm your transaction
Note: Double-check your information to ensure that it is correct.Step 7:Save your electronic receipt for safekeeping. Once you’re done, you will receive an SMS notification with your bill payment details. For those who input their Email Address, you will also receive your electronic receipt via email.
For utility payments such as electricity and water, select either ELECTRIC UTILITIES or WATER Utilities
