MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Pilipinas Shell will implement price increase for diesel by Php6.10 per liter, Php6.10 per liter for kerosene, and Php1.40 for gasoline. Changes will take effect on August 30, 2022, at 6:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter, diesel by Php6.10 per liter, and kerosene by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, PPT Philippines will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter and diesel by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter and diesel by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Jetti will implement a price increase for Accel Rate by Php1.40 per liter, JX Premium by Php1.40 per liter, and Diesel Master by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Petrogazz will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter and diesel by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Flying V will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter, biodiesel by Php6.10 per liter, and kerosene by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Petron will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter, diesel by Php6.10 per liter, and kerosene by Php6.10 per liter.

Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php1.40 per liter and Php2.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 12:01 am, CALTEX will implement a price increase for Platinum and Silver by Php1.40 per liter, diesel by Php6.10 per liter, and kerosene by Php6.10 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

• Diesel by Php5.90-P6.20 per liter (increase)
• Gasoline by either Php1.20-P1.60 (increase)
• Kerosene by Php5.80-P6.10 per liter (increase)

On August 23, fuel prices were increased by Php2.60 per liter for diesel, Php0.70 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on August 16, fuel prices were increased by Php1.05 per liter for diesel, Php0.10 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php0.45 per liter.

As of August 23, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php18.15 per liter for gasoline, Php31.70 per liter for diesel, and Php27.10 per liter for kerosene.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
