Fuel price increase effective August 23, 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Pilipinas Shell will implement price increase for diesel by Php2.60 per liter, Php2.80 per liter for kerosene, and Php0.70 for gasoline. Changes will take effect on August 23, 2022, at 6:00 am.

Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter and Php2.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter, diesel by Php2.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter.



Effective 12:01 am, CALTEX will implement a price increase for Platinum and Silver by Php0.70 per liter, diesel by Php2.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, PPT Philippines will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter and Php2.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, Petrogazz will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter and Php2.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, Unioil will implement a price increase for Eurogasoline 91, 95 and 97 by Php0.70 per liter, Euro5 diesel by Php2.60 per liter.



Effective 6:00 am, Jetti will implement a price increase for Accel Rate and JX Premuim by Php0.70 per liter, Diesel Master by Php2.60 per liter.

Effective 6:00 am, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter and Php2.60 per liter for diesel.

Effective 6:00 am, Petron will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter, diesel by Php2.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter.



Effective 6:00 am, Flying V will implement a price increase for gasoline by Php0.70 per liter, biodiesel by Php2.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

  • Diesel by Php2.50-P2.80 per liter (increase)
  • Gasoline by either Php0.40-P0.70 (increase)
  • Kerosene by Php2.70-P2.80 per liter (increase)

On August 16, fuel prices were increased by Php2.60 per liter for diesel, Php0.70 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php2.80 per liter. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on August 9, fuel prices were increased by Php1.05 per liter for diesel, Php0.10 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php0.45 per liter.

As of August 16, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php17.45 per liter for gasoline, Php29.10 per liter for diesel, and Php24.30 per liter for kerosene.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
