MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Chinese-Filipino founder of Bench, Ben Chan, had a blowout and took 475 of his employees for an all-paid trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. 

Bench founder, Ben Chan, has taken his employees on a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland for the 35th anniversary of the company. His generosity to his employees shows how proud he was of their dedication.

The Bench founder shared on his Instagram account on Tuesday about the trip they went to in commemoration of Bench’s 35th anniversary.



“Grateful beyond words for the incredible journey with my BENCH family. Our 475 loyal employees are the heart of this celebration as we embrace the magic of HK Disneyland. Here’s to more dreams fulfilled together!”

The post has received over 10,000 likes and comments from people congratulating the 35th anniversary of the company. Hosts such as Kim Atienza, Amy Perez-Castillo, and Christine Bersola Babao congratulated Chan for his company’s anniversary as well. 

Even the actor David Licauco wrote “sama ako” as a joke in the post. 

Not only has Chan given his employees a great trip, he even thanked his staff with disabilities, namely Mark Sampang, Louie Dulay, and John Ryan Cruz, who has been working in Bench for 10 to 16 years. 



Although one of the staff was deaf, the message delivery was for their loyalty and dedication to the company. 

Ben Chan is also admired by many celebrities, with already some of them commenting on his post to congratulate him and more. 

The fashion brand recently organized fan meets for Korean stars such as Wi Ha Jun, Kim Seon Ho in the Philippines. Bench has also organized fan meets for the K-pop group ITZY in the Philippines. Bench is endorsed by K-pop group Enhyphen making their relevance as a brand and company significantly better as K-pop stans follow their branding deals and updates. 



Even high-tier celebrities of the Philippines, such as Francince Diaz, Vice Ganda, Lovi Poe, and more, attended the Bench Fashion Show back in March, showing the company’s influence not only overseas with the Korean brands but also locally as it influences others. – WhatALife!/Zain
