MANILA, PHILIPPINES — This year’s Fiba World Cup is set to take place in the Philippines, serving as the main host of this year’s biggest basketball event on August 25, 2023.
The main venues for the 16 teams playing in the Philippines will be at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) in Pasay City.
The first round of the group phase is from August 25 to 30; the second round/classification from August 31 to September 3; and the final phase begins on September 5 starting with the quarterfinal with the Final set for September 10.
The top two teams in each group will compete for a position in the quarterfinals as the remaining teams compete for a spot in the classification round. The second round will start on Aug 31, 2023.

Where, how, and how much are tickets?
Tickets for the games at the Mall of Asia Arena are available at smtickets.com, while tickets for the group stage matches at the Philippine Arena and Smart Araneta Coliseum can be purchased at ticketnet.com.ph. However, tickets can also be purchased at the venues.
On August 25, the price of a single day pass at the Philippine Arena goes from ₱999 to ₱25,699, whereas on August 25, the price of a single day pass at the MOA Arena runs from ₱499 to ₱11,099.
From August 26 to 30, a single game ticket at the Smart Araneta Coliseum costs from ₱499 to ₱27,299 pesos. At the MOA Arena, single game tickets cost from ₱499 to ₱19,199.
