“Can’t Buy Me Love,” lead stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano showcased their playful spirit in a recent “Whisper Challenge” featured on ABS-CBN Entertainment.

The game, known for its unpredictability, saw the pair divided into two roles – the “whisperer,” tasked with quietly conveying a word, and the “guesser,” challenged to decipher the word while wearing noise-canceling headphones. 

Each correct guess earned a point, with the player tallying the most points emerging as the victor.

In the initial round, both Donny and Belle earned a point, with Belle successfully identifying “La Sinfonia” and Donny accurately guessing “Auntie Cathy.” 

However, the challenge intensified in subsequent rounds. Belle swiftly decoded “paksiw,” but Donny struggled to recognize “Annie,” the name of his character’s mother, portrayed by Ina Raymundo.

Further rounds saw both stars grappling with the difficulty of lip-reading. Belle found it challenging to discern “Mang Balong,” while Donny adeptly interpreted “Binondo.” 

The fourth round proved equally taxing, with Belle puzzled by “kuliglig” and Donny tasked with deciphering a line from the series, “I will always make you remember.”

As the game climaxed, Donny and Belle faced their final challenge. Though the words “balut” and “COO” seemed straightforward, both stars had difficulty pinpointing them.

Fans eagerly watched the video, reveling in the adorable moments shared between Donny and Belle, affectionately known as DonBelle. 

The duo’s chemistry shone through as they navigated the playful competition, adding another layer of charm to their onscreen partnership.
