MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity real life couple, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera perform on “ASAP Natin To” stage for the first time.
Dantes danced to classic hits while Rivera went the Gen Z route with TikTok hits of their performance.
Dantes and Rivera will make a huge comeback on the big screen through its 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) official entry, “Rewind”.
It revolves around John (Dingdong), who looks to make up for lost time after an accident costs his wife’s life. Desperate to have his wife Mary (Marian) back into his life and to mend his relationship with their son Austin (Jordan Lim), he receives unexpected help from Lods, played by Pepe Herrera — giving him a chance to start anew and amend his wrongdoings to his family. But along with this opportunity, a costly consequence awaits.
Also part of the stellar cast are Sue Ramirez, Joross Gamboa, Lito Pimentel, Ina Feleo, Ariel Ureta, Pamu Pomerada, Mary Joy Apostol, Via Antonio, Chamyto Aguedan, and Coney Reyes.
“Rewind” will be showing in cinemas nationwide starting December 25.
Meanwhile, Maymay showed clear signs of joy when the celebrity couple from the entertainment industry made an appearance on the well-known musical variety show..
“Welcome Ms. Marian,” she greeted the actress.
She stood a short distance from the actress, yet it was Marian who took the initiative to embrace her. Similarly, when it came to Dingdong, he approached her and extended a beso-beso greeting, acknowledging Maymay as well.
