PAGASA Weather Update: The shear line with the trough of the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies, rain showers and thunderstorms to the Davao Region, Caraga, Samar, Eastern Samar, and Northern Samar, with possible flash floods or landslides caused to moderate to at times heavy rains.

On Tuesday, the shear line will affect the eastern part of Visayas, while the northeast monsoon will hit Luzon and the rest of Visayas, according to PAGASA’s early morning forecast.

Due to the northeast monsoon, Metro Manila, the rest of Visayas, and most of Luzon will experience cloudy weather with isolated light rainfall.

The rest of Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the trough of LPA, which might cause flash floods or landslides during strong thunderstorms.

Winds will be moderate to high in Northern and Central Luzon, heading northeastward, and coastal waters will be moderate to rough. In comparison, the eastern part of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have moderate to severe northeasterly winds, with moderate to rough coastal waters.
