CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, PHILIPPINES — The deadline for business permit renewal has been extended until February 28, 2023.
The Cagayan de Oro City Council passed Ordinance No. 14431-2023 on January 16, 2023, extending the deadline for business permit renewal from January 20 to February 28.
The decision was urged by the Oro Chamber, requesting the extension to give business owners “ample time to stretch the schedule of their financial responsibility due to slow business operations as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.”
Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy also recommended the extension “in light of the various challenges confronting the business sector due to the pandemic repercussions.”
For business owners planning to renew their business permits, you may visit the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) kiosk at the City Hall. Or you may also renew online via the official Cagayan de Oro services website: https://services.cagayandeoro.gov.ph/bponline/.
There are also satellite offices in Puerto and SM Upwotn, available until January 31, 2023. – WhatALife!
