Cagayan de Oro City reported 33 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, April 12, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded 33 new confirmed cases over the weekend of April 10-11, 2021.

April 10, 2021 – 20 new recorded cases

• 3 locally stranded individual (LSIs)
• 2 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs)
• 6 local cases with known links
• 2 local APORs
• 7 local index cases, including one death

April 11, 2021 – 13 new recorded cases

• 9 local cases with known links
• 4 local index cases

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 4,331COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 242 are active cases, 75 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 159 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and eight cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 11 new recoveries and two new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 3,886 and 203 respectively.
