Cagayan de Oro City reported 119 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, May 28, 2021.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 119 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 36 of which are local cases with known links, eight local APORs, 50 local index cases, 22 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and three deaths.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 6,860 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 1,160 are active cases, 298 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 862 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).
Dr. Nery also announced 38 new recoveries and six deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 5,398 and 302, respectively.
