Cagayan de Oro City reported 78 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 78 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 33 of which are local cases with known links, ten local APORs, 32 local index cases, one person deprived of liberty (PDL), and two deaths.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 6,179 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 998 are active cases, 246 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 752 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).
Dr. Nery also announced 104 new recoveries and two deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,921 and 260 respectively.
