Cagayan de Oro City reported 85 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 85 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 34 of which are local cases with known links, six local APORs, 44 local index cases, and one death.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,998 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 954 are active cases, 226 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 728 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

Dr. Nery also announced 20 new recoveries and four deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,791 and 253 respectively.
