Cagayan de Oro City reported 70 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 70 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 27 of which are local cases with known links, nine local APORs, 32 local index cases, and two deaths.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,182 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 640 are active cases, 140 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 496 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and four cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 36 new recoveries and two deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,318 and 224 respectively.
