Cagayan de Oro City reported 24 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, January 22.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 24 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, one of which is a person deprived of liberty, 16 local cases with links, two local APORs, and five local index cases.
With this, the total cumulative COVID-19 cases in the city is now 3,200.
Out of the cumulative total, 358 are active cases, 109 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 245 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and four cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 12 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,680 and 162, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 417 are under the LSI/ROF category, with four active cases, one death (ROF), and 412 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,783 with 245 active cases, 161 deaths, and 2,268 recoveries.
