Cagayan de Oro logs 43 more COVID-19 cases

Cagayan de Oro City reported 43 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, January 18.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 43 new cases over the weekend, bringing the cumulative to 3,125.

Out of the cumulative total, 356 are active cases, 107 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 237 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 12 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 23 new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,609 and 160, respectively.



Of the cumulative total, 417 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 12 active cases, one death (ROF), and 404 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,708 with 237 active cases, 159 deaths, and 2,205 recoveries.
