Cagayan de Oro coronavirus cases rise to 2,116 with 28 new cases

Cagayan de Oro City reported 28 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, November 19.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 28 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, of which 10 are close contacts of previously confirmed cases and one local authorized person outside residence (APOR).

With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,116.

Out of the cumulative total, 575 are active cases, 25 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 530 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 20 cases under the ROF/LSI category.



Dr. Nery also announced 25 new recoveries and three new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 1,452 and 89, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 377 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 20 active cases, one death (ROF), and 356 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 1,739 with 530 active cases, 88 deaths, and 1,096 recoveries.
