The city logged 12 new COVID-19 cases on September 08, 2022. There are now 68 active cases in the city with a total cumulative of 26,933 COVID-19 cases since March 2020.

Out of the total cumulative, 20 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), and 48 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

The city also logged 20 new recoveries and no new deaths, bringing the total recoveries and death cases to 25,912 and 953, respectively.
