SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — BTS Jimin and Ha Sung Woon’s new “Our Blues” official soundtrack, ‘With You,’ break the record for BTS ‘Dynamite’ for being the fastest song to excel on iTunes charts in 100 Regions.
They both released the top hit duet track on April 25 at midnight Korean time, which is their most-anticipated contribution to the soundtrack of the well-known tvN drama “Our Blues.”
Within four hours and 42 minutes of its release, it went to the No. 1 ranking on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 100 different regions, marking it the fastest song ever to achieve such success.
The former record holder for the fastest song to top iTunes Top Songs charts in 100 different regions was the previous track of the South Korean boy group BTS “Dynamite,” which took approximately eight hours to reach the breakthrough.
Starring Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min Ah, “Our Blues” is a new drama set on Jeju Island. It tells the life stories of a diverse array of characters. The series also stars Han Ji-Min, Kim Woo-Bin, Lee Jung-Eun, Cha Seung-Won, Uhm Jung-Hwa, Kim Hye-Ja, and more.
According to Soompi, a new still released from the drama’s upcoming episode shows Sun-Ah and Dong-Suk are about to meet for the first time in seven years as Sun-Ah journeys back to Jeju.
Additionally, in a recent update from Soompi, the average nationwide rating of the series rose to 7.7 percent for its latest episode. In addition, TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3,” which airs in the same time slot, posted an average nationwide rating of 7.5 percent.
