MANILA, PHILIPPINES — TV Host Boy Abunda expressed his great disappointment regarding Liza Soberano’s new vlog, where the actress talked about her career.

Since Sunday, February 26, Liza’s “This is Me” vlog on YouTube has been the talk of social media. In the said video, the actress explained why she decided to leave Star Magic and Ogie Diaz to become a talent of James Reid’s Careless Music.

Because of Liza’s statement, some people are questioning and criticizing her lack of appreciation for the projects as well as the people that paved the way for her successful career.

Among those who reacted was his former manager, Ogie Diaz.

In the episode of For Today’s Talk with Boy Abunda this Tuesday, February 28, the King of Talk chimed in on the matter and spoke up as a talent manager after seeing Liza’s video.

Marami po akong gustong sabihin. Disappointed po ako doon sa vlog, I’m not disgusted but I am extremely disappointed with the vlog.” Tito Boy admitted.

“Saan ako na-disappoint? Bilang manager at bilang fan, let me talk first as a manager. Kasi po may mga complaints siya doon na ‘I had no voice, wala akong kinalaman, hindi ako tinatanong kung anong nangyayari sa aking karera. I was just working with three directors na paulit-ulit.’ Masakit pakinggan kasi you were working with three of best directors in this country,” he added.

Tito Boy expressed that he is not speaking to embarrass or criticize Liza but to remind the actress how and where she started and why she succeeded in her career.

“You can proceed with your career, you can redirect your career, pero sana you can journey in gratitude,” he said.

Sana baon mo ang pagpapasalamat sa lahat ng mga nangyari at sa lahat ng mga taong dumaan sa buhay mo at kasama mo because you are where you are today dahil sa mga taong tumulong sa iyo.”

Tito Boy concluded his statement with a notable piece of advice to Liza.

You know Liza, I love you, if you’re watching this. Proceed with your career, wherever you want to go in gratitude. You know what you should do? “#SayThankYou.” Because gratitude opens your heart and your life to more blessings.”
