BLACKPINK has set a new record on YouTube!
South Korean megastar BLACKPINK has set yet again another record on YouTube, reaching 1.2 billion views for their Kill This Love MV on Tuesday, February 9.
Kill This Love is now the fastest Korean music video to surpass such a feat. The music video was released on April 5, 2019 (12-midnight KST), which means it took about one year, ten months, and four days to reach the milestone. This surpasses the record previously set by DDU-DU DDU-DU, which took just over two years to accomplish the feat.
BLACKPINK is the first Korean group to have two music videos with over 1.2 billion views, including DDU-DU DDU-DU with over 1.4 billion views on YouTube.
